Made in Japan Ceramics, Book IV is highly informative, distinguishing those 'Made in Japan' ceramics from other Japanese export ceramics such as Nippon, Noritake, and Occupied Japan. Over 600 beautiful photographs together with a special section on marks and backstamps, Japanese patent numbers, and trademarks aid the collector in identifying and dating a collection. Special focus is given to the different glazes, as well as reproductions on the market. Ashtrays, bells, candleholders, pitchers, salt and pepper sets, souvenirs, vases, wall pockets, figurines, and much more are included once again. A couple of new sections include Lobster Ware and Japanese Arts & Crafts-style vases.
